Who We Are
The Yorkville Alliance BID Formation Effort is a community-driven initiative led by a broad coalition of residents, commercial property owners, tenants, and neighborhood advocates.
Together, we are working to establish a Business Improvement District along the vibrant East 86th Street corridor and surrounding blocks to enhance sanitation, public safety, horticulture, and overall neighborhood beautification. These improvements are designed to benefit everyone who lives, works, and visits the area while helping create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming Yorkville.
We’re excited about what we can accomplish together as a united neighborhood community and about the opportunity to make the East 80s one of New York City’s most vibrant and well-cared-for neighborhoods.

We Need Your Vote!
To officially establish a Business Improvement District (BID), the City requires signed support from property owners representing at least 51% of the district’s assessed value. But property owner support alone is not enough.
The City also wants to see strong community support for the effort. That means hearing from the people who live here, work here, own businesses here, shop here, and care about the future of East 86th Street and Yorkville.
