Fred Posniak
Fred C. Posniak is a senior vice president of Empire State Realty Trust. He started his career in 1976, working under the legendary real estate icons Lawrence A. Wien and Harry B. Helmsley. In 1994, he began working directly with members of the Malkin family.
Mr. Posniak, who has over thirty years’ experience in the repositioning of office, retail, and industrial properties, is involved in its office and retail operations, acquisitions, leasing, marketing, and public relations. He was instrumental in the creation of the hugely successful W&H Properties brand, a portfolio comprising nine Manhattan Pre-War trophy buildings totaling eight million square feet of office and retail space. The portfolio consists of the Empire State Building; One Grand Central Place (60 East 42nd Street); 112 West 34th Street; 501 Seventh Avenue; 250 West 57th Street; and 1333, 1350, 1359 and 1400 Broadway.
Mr. Posniak currently serves on several committees of the Real Estate Board of New York, as well as the Grand Central Partnership, 34th Street Partnership, Fashion BID Partnership, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Building Owners and Managers Association. He also is former member of the Board of Governors of the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association.

Marc Pollack, Managing Director, Asset Management
Marc Pollack is Managing Director of Asset Management for FirstService Residential’s Multifamily Rental Management Division. In this role, Marc oversees a team of dedicated property managers and a portfolio of luxury, market-rate, and mixed-income rental properties across the five boroughs.
With over a decade of residential and commercial management experience, Marc specializes in financial and operational reporting, developing operating and capital budgets, and implementing strategic business plans for young properties. He is also recognized as an expert in achieving investor objectives and delivering superior risk-adjusted returns with the highest level of service.
Marc previously served as Director of Residential Asset Management with The LeFrak Organization, where he helped manage a portfolio of nearly 20,000 rental apartments. More recently, he served as Executive Director of Asset Management at Charles H. Greenthal Management Corp., which was acquired by FirstService in 2023. In this role, he led an experienced cross functional team that delivered best-in-class service to portfolio building owners.
Marc graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in communication. He later earned his MBA from Columbia University with a focus on real estate, and a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the world’s premier association for residential property management organizations.

Simon Bohbot
With over 17 years of experience in real estate and property management, Simon Bohbot is the Director of Residential Property Management at The Feil Organization, a prominent family-owned real estate investment, development, and management firm headquartered in New York City. Since joining Feil in 2019, Simon has been instrumental in overseeing the management of the company's extensive residential portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and tenant satisfaction across more than 2,000 rental units. Prior to his tenure at Feil, Simon held senior property management roles at esteemed firms including Cammeby’s International, LeFrak, & Clipper Equity. His diverse background encompasses responsibilities in property management, leasing, and budgeting, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted real estate industry. Simon is committed to maintaining the Feil Organization’s legacy of integrity and service.

Stephen Pirmal
Having worked in the food industry for over 15 years with a degree in Culinary Arts, most of Mr. Pirmal’s career has been with Shake Shack, presently as an Area Director overseeing restaurants in NYC and Long Island. His passion lies with finding ways to create a great team and guest experience, while being a community gathering place.

Julie Menin
Council Member Julie Menin represents New York City Council District 5, covering the East Side of Manhattan and Roosevelt Island. An attorney, civic leader, three time City Commissioner, and former small business owner, Julie has over two decades of experience in the public and private sectors. She currently serves as the Chair of the City Council Committee on Consumer and Worker Protection. Julie previously served as Commissioner of the Department of Consumer Affairs and Commissioner of Media and Entertainment. She also served as an adjunct professor at Columbia University. Julie most recently served as the City’s Census Director, successfully advocating against the Trump Administration’s efforts to add a citizenship question and achieving a historic result by finishing first among all major cities. Because of this effort, New York City will be receiving its fair share over the next decade of over $1.5 trillion in federal funding for public schools, affordable housing, healthcare, infrastructure, and other vital programs.

Tiago M. Correia
Tiago M. Correia is a Senior Vice President of Development at Extell Development Company, one of the leading real estate developers in New York City. Tiago focuses on residential and commercial high-rise development, and he is currently responsible for a portfolio of over two million square feet of new construction, including 570 Fifth Avenue, a new trophy office tower in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
Prior to joining Extell in 2017, Tiago worked in a variety of roles at Tishman Speyer, including debt finance, equity capital markets, and commercial development. Prior to that, he served as Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, first in Europe and then overseeing North American operations, where he led the design and construction of three million square feet of residential, commercial, and cultural buildings worldwide.
Tiago holds a Licentiate in Architecture with honors from the University of Lisbon and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and a member of REBNY’s Sustainability Committee.

Alex Bores
Alex Bores is a New York State Assemblymember representing the 73rd district, an area including Carnegie Hill, the Upper East Side, Midtown East, Murray Hill, Turtle Bay, and Sutton Place. Born and raised in the district, Alex has been working to better the lives of New Yorkers, not only by legislating, but by supporting the community through commencement speeches, outreach programs, and extensive constituent engagement. He’s passed legislation to increase the maximum fine for spam callers, to speed up judicial processes, and to encourage state agencies to adopt cloud computing technology. He lives on the Upper East Side with his wife, Darya.

Susan Gottridge, Co-Chair
A neighborhood resident for over 30 years, I am a member of my building’s condo Board and was a member of my former building’s co-op Board. I also serve on the Boards of both Carnegie Hill Neighbors and the East 86th Street Association, focusing on quality-of-life issues. I have seen how BIDs have helped transform other neighborhoods and know that we can accomplish a similar transformation here.
